Loan applications, processed end to end
One of India's largest listed fintechs — Collects applicant data, calls APIs between collection steps, and reads uploaded documents with Vision — a multi-team handoff collapsed into one flow.
Loan processing is unforgiving: it touches multiple teams, third-party checks and a stack of uploaded documents, and every handoff is a place for an application to stall. This fintech wanted the whole journey to run as one continuous flow instead of a relay between departments.
The challenge
Intake spanned several teams and tools — collecting applicant data, running third-party API checks, and reading uploaded documents. Each handoff between those steps added delay and a chance for an application to fall through the cracks.
How it’s wired
APIs fire between steps, not after
The difference from a Zapier-style setup is timing. Here the workflow calls external APIs between collection steps — validating an identity or pulling a signal while the applicant is still in the flow — so the next question adapts to what comes back, instead of everything happening after submit.
Documents are read, not filed
Applicants upload IDs and financial documents, and Vision reads them in line — extracting the fields the application needs, rather than dropping a PDF in a folder for someone to transcribe later.
The outcome
A multi-team, multi-tool handoff collapsed into a single flow on one platform — collection, checks and document reading happening together instead of in sequence across departments.
The application is processed as it's filled — not queued for a chain of people afterward.
